Partial hydatidiform mole

The placentas of partial hydatidiform mole often have scattered enlarged cystic villi (A) and fetuses frequently have three to four digital syndactyly (B; H&E). Note how the tissue between the third and fourth digits has failed to be resorbed, resulting in a "fused" appearance.
